today went for cardiology update seminar 07 at nhc wit han, yn, adiba to help out... im damn full nw... i cn't rmb anything abt wat the doc said but i cn rmb hw heavenly the food tasted..it was a buffet...nt those ordinary one cos is catered to all docs n nusres who paid like 100 or 200 bucks for tis seminar...n they actualli had 3 buffets...2 teabreaks n 1 lunch...the teabreaks look like lunch to mi...first teabreak had fish, dry meesiam, eclair n etc...i tot it was lunch so i ate quite alot...then they told mi lunch is 2 hrs after tis...so i started walkin around to aid in my digestion...then the lunch came...woah...gt alot of nice food...fav. is the lasagne...damn nice la...then abt 1hr later gt another teabreak again...LOL...pastries, drumsticks n kway tiao... all those food has alreadi reached the top of my gullet liao...if i do a transesophageal echo nw, i tink i will vomit out wat i eat when the tube goes in...n when the doc draw the tube out, the surface should be filled wit those food... bt still, tried to jump up n down hopin tat the food will be pushed down to allow more space for the pastries...hahah..mi, yn n han were lookin at our bulgin stomachs...i tink i gain weight today... there were damn alot of food left...cos they ordered way too much...one whole tray left untouched...n the caterin service guy say he will jus throw away the leftover la if nobody wan to take away...lucky many exhibitors n cleaners ta bao home... there, in another part of the world...ppl are sufferin frm malnutrition n fightin over the food, here, we are throwin our food into the bins...life's nv fair... the talks were so-so...maybe the docs' frequency abit diff frm mi...they jus laugh at things which i wun laugh at...the onli talk which interest mi was the surgeon who had lots of videos tat he took durin a surgery...the videos showed hw he cut open the heart, then put a bag of saline into the heart which i dunno y, then show the valves n also hw they stitch...the threads were shakin while the surgeon was stitchin...the surgeon said the person is a newbie... thurs n fri...nth much...i managed to do a holter report all by myself...yeah...n i saw a cute little boy while mi n han walk to nhc...damn cute...he was like smilin n wavin at mi when im a stranger to him...then when i wanted to take a photo of him, he didn't run away...he jus used his hands to cover his face...then duri lec, the image of him kept swirlin in my head....lol... i noe tis photo looks eerie...but he is realli damn cute...he liven up my life at nhc tat day....   wo huai yi wo you lian tong pi...LOL... tml is dr guna lec...finalli...im lookin forward for his lec...=D to dearest shan, The ultrasound beam travels through the chest wall (skin, muscle, bone, tissue) and lungs to reach the heart.The transducer at the end of the tube is positioned in the esophagus, directly behind the heart. By rotating and moving the tip of the transducer, the physician can examine the heart from several different angles...i tink is like tat..tat's y dunnid go long way...main thing is the ultrasound...:) |
