we all evolved from simplicity
Hello there, I'm a 20-year-old female student who resides in super sunny Singapore.I came to this world on 25th Nov 1989. I luv travelling and nature. I've figured that I already suffer Peter Pan syndrome. a volunteer who truly believes every act of kindness creates a ripple effect. an idealist who strives for simplicity. The world is not perfect; the way you live can make the world perfectly wonderful. |

![]() Soon, the uni application is going to commence in Feb1 when tests and exams are cumin, i don't even hav the time to ponder thru wat i realli want in life i need a certain time in life to jus sit down n ponder thru wat i wnt but with revisions nt done and prep work for exams unfinished, i doubt i cld fork out tat precious time for all these... biomedical science i dunno whether i still wan to continue wit tat basicalli, i found out tat i didn't realli hav a lovE for research choosin cardiac tech as my specialisation option and tat 1yr attachment realli made mi understand tat i belong to tat healthcare sector i prefer interactions wit patient than interacting wit the patient's sample i prefer showerin the care n concern for patients than those machines i prefer a job tat allows mi to move ard rather than stayin in the lab frm 8-5 i realli like workin in the hospitals rather than private labs n so tat leaves mi thinkin whether being a nurse wld be the right choice for mi i hav once tot of tis option but the idea of facin death everiday was a challenge to mi n soon, this thought was put off bt come to think of it, at some point of ur life, our loved ones will leave us and during my attachment, i wasn't tat afraid abt all these. i scanned through the courses that local unis offered compared the nursing modules and biomed, those nuring modules taught were those tat i prefer durin my biomed course modules like anatomy and physio, microbio, immuno and etc as for biomed, those topics which i irk were there to haunt mi again modules like genetics, proteomics and etc bt i noe tat these topics are definitely gng to be there if i wan to pursue a degree, esp in Singapore, where biomed degrees are veri research-based and to an extent, more to biotech than biomed(altho it's named biomed, but the topics are biotech) had a chat wit my dad a chat tat is a must everitime i meet crossroads in life my parents are nt those authorative ppl i alwaes had the choice to choose wat i wan but my dad will alwaes offer mi wit valuable advice when i needed it so i told him wat i felt n the possible switch n he tot it was a gd idea jus go for it, think positively and believe in yourself the only worry he had is why locals dun wan to work in local hospitals he was afraid tat maybe the work is too demandin for mi it was great to hear tat altho it was kind of expected to tat he will alwaes support mi haiz...actuali sometimes i wld luv to hav someone to tell mi wat to do maybe i shld jus apply n try my luck i might nt even pass the interview who knows right? “Fear of Failure must never be a reason not to try something” by Frederick Smith
