we all evolved from simplicity
Hello there, I'm a 20-year-old female student who resides in super sunny Singapore.I came to this world on 25th Nov 1989. I luv travelling and nature. I've figured that I already suffer Peter Pan syndrome. a volunteer who truly believes every act of kindness creates a ripple effect. an idealist who strives for simplicity. The world is not perfect; the way you live can make the world perfectly wonderful. |

买东西吃东西买东西吃东西买东西吃东西买东西吃东西。。。
Bangkok, a shoppin paradisethis time it was definitely a fruitful trip i went there with a small lugguage which was nt even half-filled n i went back wit a totally filled lugguage n 2 fully-stuffed hand-carry bags my 6 days weren't much of a sight-seeing trip bt more of a SHOPPING trip=) so nt much photos were taken too most of the photos were taken in the grand palace which was the onli sight-seein trip we stayed at pathuwan princess hotel it was nxt to all the shoppin malls n street markets are onli a short distance frm here the service was veri gd cleanin twice a day, prepared breakfast box for us on the last day as we had to check out at 6am my money were all spent on buyin my own things eatin n hotel fees all paid by my aunt n cousin woohhoo!!! i mus say if u luv shoppin at fareast n bugis then thailand is definitely ur shoppin heaven u cn get things much cheaper there sometimes prices cn be slashed to half the normal price or even better! food is also so much cheaper there went their jap restaurant we ordered alot but it was still cheap and affordable interestin: 1. thais believe tat they mus get their first business no matter wat, as they believe tat if they didn't manage to clinch the 1st deal, it means bad luck for them -i was realli lucky to alwaes be the first customer...hahah...after knowin their customs, i slashed those prices like mad! 2. all the clothes n accessories are sellin like less than S$10! 3. at the Vimanmek(worlds' largest golden teakwood mansion), there is a free tour ard wit thai tour guide speakin in english. when we reached the staircase, she said: " this is the si-by-la staircase." n everione was puzzled by the word si-by-la she pointed to the staircase, and we found out tat it's spiral staircase the angmoh in the tour then went to teach the tour guide how to pronounce. n there was a young boy in the tour who went to follow wat the tour guide said "si-by-la, si-by-la...." comicalXD 4. i luv tuk-tuk, they drive like F1 drivers, super fast, kept squeezin in between those cars and going thru small lanes. EXCITING! my heart was racin and the wind was blowin veri strongly. even though we noe tat the price quoted was much higher, bt it's once a lifetime thing=D 5.they hav motorcycles as public transport n it's onli 10baht, my cousin asked mi to try...bt when i saw the 2 female angmohs squeezin wit the male motorcyclist, it's veri dangerous n to an extent, nt a gd sight to look at...LOL 6.there seems to be more taxis on the road than all other vehicles. the colour of their taxis are like luminous pink, blue, orange and yellow. very different frm our taxi's dull colours 7. lots of transvestites on the streets. some look realli pretty and of cos some of their change didn't seemed successful..OPPs! 8. after 10pm, when all the security guards end work, ppl will start rushin out to sell things on the streets and the things they sell are much more cheaper than those in shoppin malls or with shops -i bought one shirt on the streets and the man was so nice and gave another shirt free of charge for me=) 9. when they hear the national anthem, everione has to stop wat they r doing and freeze in their respective positions...PATRIOTIC! 10. kings lived a super luxurious life, one tat i will nv imagined or tot of. the grand palace is indeed magnificent! 11. on international labour day, there were hundreds of protestors on the streets and so we had to U-turn n went the other way. it's a totalli different sight frm s'pore where the trade unions celebrate labour day while thailand unions are protestin on the streets. it was a peaceful protest and ended at noon though. 12. i jus found out tat my cousin's wife family(thai) is damn rich and her sis jus had her weddin on a big yacht wit beautiful fireworks display...omg!y nv invite mi???...LOL 13. bought those umbrella tat comes in the form of a wine bottle...beautiful..there are also small ones tat come in those small 500ml metallic bottles 14. lots of angmohs there and usualli u'll see those older angmohs wit thai women..n they dun seem to hav any connection or relationship even tho they are like glued to each other 15. the taxi driver tot i was japanese...wahahha 16. there are alot more things but my eyes were jus glued to all the shops and clothings=) ![]() ![]() |
