our item, saman dance, was the first item
since it's a dance from aceh to welcome the guests
i mus say 4practices, each 1.5hr is definitely nt enuff
rehearsal was a mess
bt we manage to pull it thru for the actual performance
all thanx to our dearest Ibus!

there were lots of great performance too
love maluku dance(bamboo dance)
drama was hilarious!!!
cldn't stop laughin when the bikini made of crab shell fell off the 'lady' chest
and of cos the epic men-men kissin!
they realli put in lots of effort
considerin they had to think of the script n act it out in bahasa indonesia
definitely nt an easy feat!!

singin grp did a superb performance too
luv the song 'laskar pelangi'
i wld luv to watch the indonesian movie 'laskar pelangi' one day
watched the trailer n it looks like a good movie to watch
heard frm Ibu tat it's a very popular award-winnin film in indon
manage to find it in youtube but no eng translations=(
my bahasa indon level nt that high yet to understand the film

highlight of the day is definitely the cooking grp
they had to cook indonesian food for 200 ppl on that day within few hrs
the food was delicious
luvin the desserts
there was a dessert which had potato balls inside
and Ibu said:" take photo with ur balls"
and the whole lecture burst into laughter!

wld luv to take bahasa indon level 2 but i hav fulfilled all my uni requirements
so i'll hav to take 6mods per sem instead of the usual 5 if i take it
i heard for level 2,
instead of the proj day, they had field trip to batam!!
and if u take up level 2 indon mod, u will get a language cert
oh well, shall decide when i see nxt sem workload
